Default What recalls on 2005 Bmw K1200s

Would anyone be able to tell me what recalls I should get done on my 2005 Bmwk1200s,as I see posts mentioned but my dealer has never contacted me(ex:about this part underneath the suspension were there is the rolller bearings) .If so would you be able to include recall no of bulletin so I could contact dealer thanks.I have had my bike since july 05 and have had the clutch changed and have now looked at the rear flange and it is cracked,so will have to get that changed, but if there is any recall info it would save a bit.

You should certainly have had the airbox replaced.
Maybe the cam chain tensioner and a gearbox sprocket but I'm pretty sure that these were if the customer complained. Probably too late now.

No recall number on the letter for the suspension linkage ........It's early days if you haven't been contacted yet. Letter comes direct from BMW, not your dealer, but they will know all about it & should change it FOC.
While your there, get them to check up if your bike has had any other work done - it should all be on BMW's records, which the dealer can access.

If you contact BMW services they will tell you if there are any outstanding recalls on your bike. You don't mention if you've had the ignition ring immobilizer changed.
