Rep Power: 0 | K1300S Exhaust I'm now thinking about changing the can on the beastie.
Can't afford the akro but found out that blue flame are doing cans for our bikes. Has anyone heard anything about these for the beemers I know they have a good name for other bikes.
Thanks

Rep Power: 3 | I;ve got the blueflame on the beast, visit and view relevant fotos in the eurok album costas bike,
A few remarks, first nothing can be said for the price.
The noise is very good and the loud bang changing every gear will make every body think that a plane passes the speed of sound, just terrific.
Talking to the people of the blueflame (email) I made some remarks on the manufacture of the pipe this needs modification, hope they made it, details include cutting of the pipe by 10cm and installation of 3 metallic supports for the screws of the metallic boot cover or in my case the carbon one.
Up to now the pipe has done 123 track events (20min sessions) total distance 6500kms some discolouration but not very noticeable appeared (colour from black turn to very dark black-green). Prefer to use it only on tracks and very rarely on the road, of course will not pass MOD inspection, (noise and lack of the catalytic converter).
Finally the can looks very good am happy after all the bike is lighter by some 10 kilos, that makes a difference. |

Rep Power: 3 | Yes, no problem there. Plus is the fact that its a thin can so no need for re-enforcement to the pannier ( a big issue with some exhausts due to high temps). |
