Rep Power: 2 | After seeing it mentioned on here, I went along to the ROSPA riders meeting in Sutton Coldfield fire Station RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders
I was made very welcome by what seems a very active group, about 40 people of all ages there on machines of all shapes and sizes, so I think it must be worth joining up for a bit of advanced tuition...
and not a hi-viz in sight..well, one. |

Oh and no,i don't wear a hi vis,i'll not be able to afford to live too long. | Bit political, that frst line! We paid in for 30 years, having chosen a job with good pension provisions, all worked out by the government's Actuary's Office....not an investment to be seen anywhere. Weren't you told 'the value of investments can go up or down'........? If you weren't, there's probably a good case for breach of contract or something. But, if you were.....sympathy and all that, but having a pop at others who took a different route isn't really on, is it.

If i wanted to be political i'd be chuntering on about how many folk are on the goverment gravy train,as for my pension prospects, thats the norm mate, thats not bad, whats so odd about it,it reflects what i paid in,yours doesn't,and hence why company pensions are also going down the tube.
But on a funny note, the paid in for 30 years has made me smile, plus maybe starting work at 20(16 in my case) makes 50!! i wish!! and i'm still paying in, a normal pension to get 20 grand a year you'd need to have paid a grand a month in,hence why this country is in the soft and smelly.
But i do like dayglow helmet designs,e'r as in the one that goes on my head!!!.
