Hi Mick,

If it's the stock shock then there isn't any adjustment as far as I know. Any chance of a pic?

How many miles? What is is you're trying to sort out?

Regards,

Andy.

Hi Andy, thanks for replying i will take a picture later this week, the bike has done 46k i just think it feels a little unstable on the front end. this could be down to the way i ride the bike , i am still unsure of its limitations, i dont know how far it will lean, the problem is that my backside twitches a little if you know what i mean.

Hi Mick,

General feeling is that by now the shocks will be way past their best

Wilbers are good, if not cheap (but cheaper than Ohlins and come with a 5 year warranty and are fully set up from the factory they have your weight & riding style when you order. Available from Revs Suspension Services or 0121 501 3321).

However, it may also be tyres. The front may be "cupped" - if you look down vertically onto the tyre it won't look a nice smooth profile, it will be "cupped" on each side of the centre. If the back is badly squared off that won't help either.

As for riding style try some advanced training. A lot of training groups have Police riders and many of them will have ridden RSP's (RS Police version). They can be ridden VERY fast! If you fancy a chat come along to RoSPA on Wednesday night (8th Sept) at Sutton Coldfield Fire Station, Birmingham from 7.30pm. Check out RoSPA Advanced Motorcyclists West Midlands - Home and would love to meet you there.

Ride Relaxed.

Andy.
