Default TRW-Lucas brake pads

I recently changed my front discs, following an argument with an errant piece of low flying scaffold, and front and rear pads.
I opted for TRW-Lucas jobbies as I could get them a for a lot less than the genuine BMW parts (over £500!!)
In the catalogue they are listed as "sintered performance" so not sure how this relates to HH, although it recommends they are not suited to 400°C plus operation.

Initial thoughts, yes they fit, but as with the EBC pads Paul fitted the wear sensor wires are not provided, and in fact the wear sensor pocket is absent on both front and rear pads, as are the bonded shims.
Now I dont mind the lack of a wear sensor as I can use the Mk I eyeball, but a second user may not notice it.

In use they seem to lack the intial grab of the OEM pads but haul the bike up two up from speed with no drama and there is no noticable difference in the wet.
Another observation is that the seems to be producing more dust which makes me wonder about their longevity..better keep an eye on the wear sensors!

The ones I got do have the "pocket" for the sensor, but not the sensor wire...

Those part numbers have been in the catalog for a long time, but last time I rang through to EBC they said the parts weren't available . . .

Local shop contacted EBC for me and they told him they cannot make the leads because of patent issues
