Though this year i am pretty encouraged that we will swell our numbers to 5 !
This year we are heading off somewhere upt north round Hadrians Wall, all welcome if you wanna come, its not a fast ride, more of a sight seeing tootle. (when i say not fast, im kinda referring to not too fast for me, the pace is pretty decent but dont be excpecting to start to rub your Michelin man off your side wall ) |

The ride out is arranged for Sunday 26th September not the 25th.
Sorry for the confusion, hope you can still make it.
Desperado | Is the ride on the 26th still on? I hope to make it but the in-laws are very frail at the moment so I will have to leave it open ended.... so... arrangements still the same?
Is anybody else from the area going to show up?

Rep Power: 2 | Newbie with Blue & White K1200 RS 02 Hello to you all, just took delivery of this bike with 17000 on the clock, it is in great nick and will compliment my Honda VFR and my Kawasaki Versys. I am in and around the Derby area. I am fully biked up but like my cars and push bikes as well. Having now retired after nearly 32 years in the same job the intention is for me and my wife to do some bigger tours on the old beemer. Nice site you have got here look forward to learning the ropes and contributing in due course,
Cheers,
Kenno. |

Rep Power: 2 | Hi, It is a 800 VTEC ABS in red with all the extras on an 05 with just under 4000 on the clock. It is a lovely all rounder but the beemer will IMHO be better for a mammouth tour. Tell you what the Versys is an amazing bit of kit as well, it handles and goes well. if that was my only bike I would still feel lucky !

Rep Power: 4 | I had the pre V-Tec 800 in silver, was a great bike and sounded amazing with a Remus GP exhaust and handled superbly once I'd fitted a Maxton shock and raised the rear. Quality was amazing, I only sold it as it wasn't quite powerful enough for two up touring in the Alps, rode the wheels off it though! |
