I have to say it was fantastic and if I had the money there would be one sitting in my garage. I love the whole Victory range and once owned a Hammer as a second bike, they are so well designed and made.
The Vision is incredible and the attention to detail is fantastic. When you sit on this bike everything is in totally the right place and you're held in a very quiet, very relaxing place. The engine goes when you want it to and the brakes work in what can only be described as a "progressive" way. They kind of come on in three stages, which needs a bit of getting used to. From what I can remember, they work by just applying one side at the front, then add a bit of back brake then add the other side at the front depending on how fast and how much pressure you apply on the levers - weird, but it works.
The road holding is superb as well, but I'd find it a handful doing the Stelvio Pass!
Towards the end of the test ride it started to rain a bit but I came back very dry but found the bike could do with a windscreen wiper because with the screen up you do tend to look through it.
As with any of the Victory range they're not for shy people to own!

Rep Power: 10 | Re: Victory Vision Whether you like the styling or not, you have to give it to Victory to come up with an innovative design. It'll appeal to the folk that are into the LT / Goldwing style of bikes. My only criticism of the Vision is the lack of ABS - It would be enough to make me reconsider.

Have you ridden one yet? What did you think? I loved it.
My local Victory dealer (share the premises with KTM) are selling loads this year. All they have left at the moment a few demonstrators. They're waiting for more stock to come in. I think it's been their best year for selling Victory's so far. They're stunning bikes.

I have a strong preference for bikes with ABS and in this class of bike, it's a serious omission. |
